PastWalk is a walking guide that tells the story of historic places in Turkey. This page explains what information the app uses and why.
Location: While the app is open, your location is used to show nearby places, distance, and a day plan. Location is not continuously sent to a server. It is handled on the phone for the map and approach cards.
Journal: Visited marks, scores, and notes stay on this phone. Only a real comment you save (not a sample) may go to the shared book.
Shared notes: A saved comment can be written to the shared book so later visitors can read it. Edit and delete appear only on the phone that wrote it. A bad note can be removed from the approval panel.
Voice: The voice you choose is used while listening. The choice is stored on this phone.
Email field: If you enter an email in settings, it stays on this phone for now. It is not sent to another server yet.
Ads: There is no monthly subscription. Ads may be added later. This page will be updated then.
Children: The app is not made for children. It should not be used by children under 13 without a parent’s approval.
Contact: You can write through this site. If this text changes, the date will change too.
